Enjoy The Most Famous Palace In France

The Palace of Versailles is located 35 minutes by train from Paris. It was declared World Heritage by UNESCO. If you are planning to Travel To Versailles, you must take a valid France Visa. Versailles is the largest and the most famous Palace In France.

The Palace of VersaillesThere are three sections: the Palace of Versailles which has the gardens and the properties related to Marie Antoinette, the queen of Austrian who was decapitated and the Petit Trianon. Planning a day to visit the three places and enjoy the panoramas with a good coffee.

A tour with audio guide will show you a magic world. Other areas in the path are the royal apartments, the beautiful Royal Chapel, the bellicose Gallery of Battles, rooms and salons richly decorated with paintings, sculptures, busts and tapestries.

There is a service train from the center of Paris: the yellow line C passing through the Seine River to the station Versailles – Château Rive Gauche.

The Gardens of Versailles is huge. If you are planning to visit the properties of Marie Antoinette you can do it by train or by electric bicycle. For the tickets, there are two lines to get there: one to buy tickets and another to enter in the Château Palace.

From March to October the musical fountains is one of the most amazing attractions. In high season, May to September, avoid visiting the park on weekends and on Tuesday morning, because it’s crowed. The low season is perfect to enjoy the landscape calmly.

There are a lot of cafes and restaurants in Versailles. Inside the palace there is the fancy Salon de The Angelina. In the gardens, not far from the source Latone, there is the Brasserie de la Girandole, perfect for quick meals. Near the Grand Canal are two other options, the La Flottille and La Petite Venise.
